Student has skied or ridden before and can turn and stop in either direction in the learning area. Can ride the carpet lift and stop without assistance in the carpet slope area; Lower Lovejoy slope.

Student can ski/ride comfortably on most green trails including Lovejoy slope and Skycoaster trail. Able to turn and stop cautiously on groomed blue; Lower Main Street.

Student makes efficient turns on all green and groomed blue trails (including Upper and Lower Main Street). Comfortable with increasing speeds. Beginning to match skis; beginning to parallel on skis. Snowboarding; can make heal and toe side turns

Student is able to comfortably and effectively link turns on all blue trails. May still be cautious on groomed black trail (Glade trail). Skiers are making mostly parallel turns. Snowboarders are comfortably linking heal and toe side turns.
